Welcome to the exhibit pages for the Spring 2017 NYU Gallatin course, “(Dis)Placed Urban Histories." Here you will find our archive of collaboratively-produced primary documents, as well as student-curated mini-exhibits reflecting the life stories of residents in a changing neighborhood.

This semester we are focusing on the Melrose section of the South Bronx. Some of our class discussions and the histories we collect will be done in partnership with neighborhood residents thanks to the participation of WHEDco (Women's Housing and Economic Development Corporation) and its supporters.
